ELEVATE YOUR NATURAL SHAPE
A lift changes position—not identity.
A breast lift, or mastopexy, removes excess skin, reshapes the breast, and repositions the nipple-areola complex to create a more supported contour.
The operation is designed around the degree of skin stretch, breast volume, nipple position, tissue quality, and your preferred shape. A lift can improve projection and proportion, but it does not automatically add upper-pole volume.
Elevate position
Bring the breast and nipple to a more youthful, proportionate position.
Reshape tissue
Create a more supported contour by tailoring skin and reorganizing the breast.
Improve symmetry
Address differences in nipple height, breast shape, and skin envelope.
Refine the areola
Reduce or reposition the areola when enlargement or downward orientation is present.
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Who may be a good candidate?
01
02
Breast ptosis
Low nipple position
The breast has descended after pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight change, aging, or genetics.
The nipple sits at or below the breast fold or points downward.
Candidacy can only be determined after a medical history, examination, and discussion of your goals. Smoking or nicotine use, unstable health conditions, and unrealistic expectations may affect whether or when surgery is appropriate.
A lift may be appropriate when skin has stretched and the breast or nipple sits lower than desired. Stable weight, realistic expectations, and willingness to accept scars are essential parts of candidacy.

04
Stretched skin
Shape asymmetry
The breast feels deflated or elongated even when adequate volume remains.
The breasts differ in position, skin envelope, nipple height, or contour.
INCISION PATTERNS
The scar pattern follows the amount of correction.
A smaller scar is not always a better lift. Dr. Henry selects the pattern that can safely remove the needed skin, reposition the nipple, and create the most stable shape.
Donut Lift
01/ PERIAREOLAR
A smaller scar is not always a better lift. Dr. Henry selects the pattern that can safely remove the needed skin, reposition the nipple, and create the most stable shape.

An incision circles the areola. It may be appropriate for limited correction, but it cannot address every degree of sagging.
Anchor Lift
03/ WISE PATTERN
A smaller scar is not always a better lift. Dr. Henry selects the pattern that can safely remove the needed skin, reposition the nipple, and create the most stable shape.

An additional incision follows the breast fold, providing greater control when excess skin or significant descent is present.
Lollipop Lift
02/ VERTICAL
A smaller scar is not always a better lift. Dr. Henry selects the pattern that can safely remove the needed skin, reposition the nipple, and create the most stable shape.

An incision circles the areola and continues vertically to the breast fold, allowing more reshaping and skin removal.
Your Pattern
04/ PERSONALIZATION
A smaller scar is not always a better lift. Dr. Henry selects the pattern that can safely remove the needed skin, reposition the nipple, and create the most stable shape.

Breast size, tissue quality, nipple position, skin excess, symmetry, and whether volume is added or reduced all shape the plan.
Lift alone—or lift with an implant?
YOUR RECOVERY
Healing happens in stages.
Swelling, bruising, tightness, and temporary changes in sensation are common early in healing. Incisions mature over many months, even after the breast has begun to feel normal.

Protect the repair
Resume light routines
Build activity
Let scars mature
Rest, walk gently, wear the recommended support bra, and avoid lifting or reaching that places tension on the incisions.
Many patients return to desk-based work as comfort allows, while continuing to avoid strenuous activity and heavy lifting.
Exercise is gradually resumed after Dr. Henry evaluates incision healing and breast support.
Shape continues to settle and scars generally soften and fade over time, though every patient heals differently.
